I’m Jazmyn D Boone, a “small but mighty” NYC-based actor, teaching artist, and creator originally from Durham, NC. I hold a BA in International Studies from Spelman College and an MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama. I’m extremely proud to be a black southern artist and love engaging in work that challenges the idea of what it means to be those two things. Enough about the credentials and onto some fun stuff! I LOVE reading horror manga but I refuse to watch horror movies by myself. The jump scares don’t have the same effect on the page so I’m able to sleep soundly at night. I’m a Libra so if you’re looking for balance, please let me know when you find it because I’m looking too. I’m a big kid at heart so I love rewatching 90’s-00’s cartoons like Hey Arnold, Duck Tales, and The Proud Family. One of my favorite comfort shows is Bob’s Burgers and it’s my not-so-secret dream to voice a character on that show.
